We were in and around the Artesia, NM region, again taking routes 82 and 285. Mesonet-based measurements surrounding the storms were taken of environmental variables of wind velocity and relative humidity. We did not deploy the PODs in this afternoon storm. Wednesday looks to be a bigger opportunity for severe weather and tornadic activity. The hope is to be able to deploy the pods several times this week. We have had some great practice days that have been beneficial to prepare everyone for effective navigation for chase mode.
